MEET OUR ADMINISTRATION STAFF & ADMIN UPDATES

The Administration has been actively working towards achieving an efficient service to our members for all policy application processing and services.  There are new processes in place with a focus of starting the new year of 2020 towards providing effective and efficient services.  They are also ensuring we as a Corporation are meeting all of our Legislative Requirements.  Congratulations Admin on moving forward into 2020 with our members.  I would like to remind our members of the Policy Shut Off Period;

Admin are not processing any Policy applications with the exception of Medical – Funeral and Urgent Dental until 27 January 2020.  (This was advised at this year’s AGM).  Admin will not be responsible for application being sent to us during this period 25/11/2019 to 27/01/2020. Please re-apply with a new application and updated quote after the 27 January 2020.

Next year there will be changes to where our Members can obtain quotes from.  We will be doing an audit on all of the current suppliers that the members currently go to, to get their quotes.  Moving forward there will only be a select number of major supply stores that will offer the Corporation value for money and assist with records to ensure the Corporation is meeting its Legislative requirements.  Members will be advised of the Store Suppliers before Policy processing re-commences on the 27th January 2020.

WORK AREA CLEARANCE (WAC)

An initiative we will be working on next year is providing a space within our office for members that are interested in participating in a Work Area Clearance Project, that will enable our members to complete their online inductions and receive assistance from Admin with the requirements towards obtaining the Santos ID and any other requirements.  This will offer a broader participation from our members interested in WAC participation
